​What We Believe

We believe and confess the one true Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and the Good News (Gospel) is the power of God for salvation for all who believe.

We believe the Bible to be the living word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and the authoritative source and norm of our proclamation, faith, and life.

We recognize and confess our fallen and sinful nature and we trust that only through the life, death, and resurrection of God’s Son Jesus that we are made right with God. By grace we are saved through faith in order that we will give Glory to God in all we do and say.

We believe baptism is God’s work to make us His children and to wash away our sins. We believe baptism is for everyone, infants, children and adults.

We believe that the bread and wine on the altar are what Jesus says they are, “This is My Body” and "This is My Blood."
Service
Our worship is Christ centered, focusing especially on all that Christ has done for us by His death and resurrection. We believe that Christ's ministry continues in and through His Church.
Infants, toddlers, and children are welcome in our worship services and are encouraged to participate. There are children's bulletins and activity bags in the back of the church just for the kids.

Attire
There’s no need to worry about how to dress when you come to worship at Bethesda. You will see people in dress clothes, jeans, or shorts and t-shirts.

​At the end of the service, we have a time of announcements. Please contact the church secretary if you would like to include something.
